Walleye and Perch
ATTENTION LAKE BEL-AIR ICE FISHERMEN
This past October Mike Gustitus organized a program (obtaining donations from some Lake Bel-Air residents) and stocked our lake with Perch and Walleye. If any of these small fish are caught during the ice fishing season PLEASE release them back into the lake. Small Walleye (in the photo below) are sometimes mistaken for Perch. To catch a legal Walleye the fish must be 15 inches. It is to the advantage of those association residents who fish our lake to allow the Perch to grow to at least 9 inches long.
Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
